Tim SieberhagenTIM SIEBERHAGEN, PASTOR :
I was born and raised in South Africa and attended an all boys boarding school for most of my school career. I made a personal profession of faith at six years of age. I was at a camp run by our church and after I heard the gospel presented I knew I wanted to be a follower of Christ. I was baptized at 14 years of age in Grahamstown Baptist Church, South Africa. That experience served as a significant spiritual landmark in my life.

As a senior in college I started to sense God’s call on my life. By the end of that year an opportunity opened up for me to study in the United States. I completed my Master of Divinity degree at Southeastern Seminary and have been pastoring ever since. My wife, Donna has been my source of encouragement and strength as we have wrestled together over life and ministry. My boys, Will and Ethan have taught me so much about the Father and the love He has for His children. My prayer is that our lives would be a magnet that draws others to Christ. Without Him we are nothing.

Shane McDanielSHANE McDANIEL, YOUTH PASTOR:
Shane was born in Greenwood, SC where he attended Laurel Baptist Church. As a young person he felt the call to Christian ministry and while studying for the ministry at North Greenville University Christ saved him. It was also at North Greenville that he met Jessica Holliman, the young woman that would become his wife. Shane has served in the ministry for several years as; a youth minister, a camp counselor, a short term missionary, a speaker, and a camp director. He and Jessica have served in the youth ministry at Kittiwake since 2006. His hobbies include hiking, karate, rock climbing, and reading. Shane is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and he is also a self-proclaimed “Comic book geek.”

Shane began the karate class several years back. He has been involved in the martial arts for over twenty years and he offers the class free of charge as a ministry. Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30PM.

“Our goal in youth ministry is to reach the lost, teach the saved, and train others to minister with us. In all of this the Bible, God’s word, takes center stage.”
James JacobsJAMES JACOBS, DIRECTOR OF MUSIC:
In 1972 while attending Woodhaven Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC, I was asked by the pastor's wife to direct the singing on a particular Sunday while the choir director was away. I had no prior experience doing this, but had spent almost nine years singing and traveling in the secular music field. I could "feel the rhythm and count the beats" so I agreed to give it a try.

I moved my family back to Columbia in 1973 and a year later I formed "Jacobs Ladder" a gospel singing group which continued until 1981.

In 1977 I became the Music Director at Red Bank Baptist Church. Over the years I have served as the Youth Choir Director or Music Minister at five churches. God has given me this ability and I give Him all of the praise and glory.
